Getting started

QuartzID is an application that allows users to manage accesses and identities. In QuartzID, you can perform various tasks depending on your role:

  • Regular users: view your profile information, accesses, create new access requests, and navigate through the employee directory.
  • Supervisors: prepare your employee arrivals, transfers and departures, manage your team's access requests, review your team's accesses (during supervisor access reviews).
  • Custodians: manage access requests for your team's resources.
  • HR: manage employee movements detected from the HR system (arrivals, departures, transfers, updates).
  • Procurement: view and authorize access requests that have licensing costs.
  • Admin Services: manage access cards, define employees' primary office and physical location.
  • External Identity Approver: approve external identities created by users.
  • IT Operations: manage password resets and back-dated requests.
  • IT Service Desk: manage password resets, back-dated requests and additional features.
  • Reports: view QuartzID reports.
  • Admin: manage SoD conflicts and preauthorizations, launch access review campaigns, manage email templates, process back-dated requests, process out-of-scope access requests and view administration dashboards.
